While councils at each level (International, National, Regional and Local) have statutes and resolutions by which they are guided, each ensures to not duplicate and to respect the authority of the higher level. Every Local Fraternity Council in the Regional Fraternity of Eastern Canada should have a copy of the following important texts:

the Local Fraternity's Book of Life, comprising:
- Local Fraternity Statutes (if applicable)
- important documents of establishment
- archive of fraternity records (history)
- important dates: professions, deaths, census...

For a copy of the Regional Statutes, please contact the

Regional Council.

It is also recommended that every Local Fraternity have a copy of the Omnibus, as well as adequate copies of formation materials for new members.
