The Regional Fraternity Of Eastern Canada, S.F.O. comprises all local fraternities which are not included in the francophone regional fraternities in the province of Quebec, and local fraternities in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, as well as the Dioceses of Ottawa, Pembroke and Alexandria-Cornwall in the province of Ontario (the south-eastern tip of the province). Due to the geographic span, the Regional Fraternity Of Eastern Canada, SFO, upon establishment on the 1st of June, 1996, was set up as one regional fraternity made up of two "Areas", the Atlantic Area and the Quebec/Ottawa Area.
